Hi folks. I am looking for a little help with Koha. I am using the Koha
VM, which used the built-in git system to update to 3.03.00.003.
Any time I try to import a MARC record from the LOC or any other source, I
get the following error:
Can't call method "add_subfields" on an undefined value at
/home/koha/kohaclone/cataloguing/addbiblio.pl line 144.
For help, please send mail to the webmaster (webmaster@koha), giving this
error message and the time and date of the error.

You might try upgrading to Koha 3.2.1, although, I am not certain if that
Multiple configuration remedies have been posted for the problem in the
past which do not quite address the core problem. The code is making an
Please provide some example MARC records for which you have failure. MARC
records for which you have success are certainly also of interest.
I suspect that I will not have the time presently to solve the problem for
you but there is a curious feature of the two example records in the bug
report. Having more example records would be helpful.
I also had this problem, though it came about rather suddenly. I looked at the code, and though I am not quite sure how to fix it yet, I resolved the error by changing the "z3950NormalizeAuthor z3950AuthorAuthFields" setting under the Cataloguing Tab, and Record Structure section to "don't copy".
I am now able to import records from a Z39.50 search.
Note that if the above does not work you might check to see if you have a branch selected if you are running a multiple branch system.
